Since February 1977, Southern Helicopters has been a part of the helicopter industry. We are based in Louisiana, and offer charter services across the United States which include, fire suppression and controlled burning, pipeline and powerline surveillance, construction, right of way maintenance / side trimming with the aerial saw, precision external load lifts up to 2,000 pounds for seismic and drilling support as well as motion picture & still aerial camera platforms. Southern Helicopters has the experience to meet all of your helicopter needs.

We utilize Bell 206 Helicopters, including the B-3 JetRanger, and the L-4 LongRanger, as well as the AS350 Astar and MD500N. Each aircraft carries up to 10 million dollars liability insurance and are FAA/USFS/OAS certificated.
